Aaron Cannon, who was born without sight, is a front-end developer. As both developer and user, Cannon has a unique perspective on accessibility. He not only has expertise in several programming languages, but also serves as the lead consultant for web and software accessibility. In the past, Cannon has worked for the Project Gutenberg Literary Archive Foundation and taught English in Guatemala. More recently, he was charged with the overall user experience for this website. His contribution marks the first time a person who is blind took the lead in designing a website for the visually impaired and sighted alike.
