Lauren Branch, CPA, is president and chief executive officer of NewView Oklahoma, the leading employer of individuals who are blind and visually impaired in Oklahoma. NewView provides comprehensive low vision services to people who are blind and visually impaired across the state, serving approximately 1,500 people annually.
A recognized leader in the state, NewView Oklahoma received the 2015 NIB Employment Growth Award, 2015 Oklahoma ABLE Tech Partner of the Year award, 2015 Oklahoma Attorney General Keith Boyd Employer of the Year Award, 2016 American Optometric Association Apollo Award, 2015 DHS Aging Services Achievement in Aging Program of the Year Award, 2014 Blue Cross Blue Shield Dr. Rodney Huey Memorial Champions of Oklahoma Health Award, 2014 Oklahoma Association of Optometric Professionals Apollo Award, and the 2014 Oklahoma State Use Program Organization of the Year Award. In 2014 the agency was a finalist for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits “One Award” in the Self Sufficiency category.
Ms. Branch is a member of the board of directors of VisionServe Alliance, past chairperson of the Oklahoma Alliance for Public Transportation, and past president of the National Association for Employment of People Who Are Blind (NAEPB). She has been recognized as one of the Oklahoma City Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 and was one of 50 finalists for the publication’s Woman of the Year award. Named one of Oklahoma City’s Most Admired CEOs in 2014 and 2017, she received the Pat Potts Visionary Award from the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits in 2014.
A native of Houston, Ms. Branch received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Texas A&M University and is a certified public accountant.
